"Even your puny bullets bend before my indomitable will!"
Whether it's because of your psychic force field, the spirits of your great
ancestors, or a personal gravity well, with a bit of exertion you have gained
enough mastery over your formidable telekinetic abilities to successfully bend
objects away from you or reflect them back at others. While not a force field
per se, this ability when combined with Psychic Hand can successfully slow projectiles
down enough for a trained mesmerist to deflect small, fast moving objects, like
bullets, that would normally be impossible to see.
System: Whenever a projectile attack is made on the character, he made
spend an Inspiration point and roll a cross matched Wits+Intuitive facet. If
he scores fewer successes than his attacker, it acts as a partial dodge. If
he scores an equal number, the projectile has been harmlessly diverted. However,
if more successes are scored, then the attack may be sent at anyone within the
mesmerist's field of vision. This is counted as an attack with a number of successes
to hit equal to the amount that the player rolled over the attacker (ex. Brett
fires at Steve, who scores 3 more successes than him on his Force Bending roll
and decides to send the bullet back at Brett. The roll to hit counts as if Steve
had scored 3 successes to hit).
