Black_Hammer (private): I'd suggest another enhancement on the M-Sta, either Regen or Durability.

Iron_Angel: [The non-match day begines]. First Angel rises at the crack of dawn. Watches the sunrise and prays.
SuperBeast (whispers to Black_Hammer): You think so?
Black_Hammer (private): . . .also I'd suggest a couple of extra Maimed bod levels, he is big .
Iron_Angel: After a half hour, as this is a typical day, he starts with a full nova meal. Say about 5 omlets.

Iron_Angel: Then he goes out into the training yard, and allows the change to happen. Muscle becomes stiff, then stone, then iron.
Iron_Angel: For a moment he calls the Sword, and meditates on it.
Iron_Angel: The sword of RIGHT is just unreal. 15 Meters long. As light as a feather, as hot as the sun. It looks like it is made out of liquid iron soaked in gasoline.
SuperBeast: (ooc) Black Hammer and I are thinking of giving SuperBeast a couple enhancements to his lvl 5 mega stamina and a few body enhancements. That okay Angel?
Iron_Angel: ((Better include Eufiber=5 as well.))
Black_Hammer (private): I was thinking Regen OR Durability. . .he shakes off hits pretty good in the main book.

Iron_Angel: Then the mock fight begins. Sometimes he levels buildings. Sometimes forests. Sometimes he fights shadows.
Iron_Angel: More recently, LiquidMetal sometimes takes part.
SuperBeast: [ooc] I don't need to ping anymore if I hit enter. Okay problem averted.
Iron_Angel: A tactic his manager has introduced recently is the "throw a water ballon at Iron with a sling shot".
Black_Hammer (private): You can be Jojo, I'll be Dylan for the commentary?
Iron_Angel: The goal is to hit the ballon before it hits the ground. After the first time we stopped using rocks.
SuperBeast (whispers to Black_Hammer): I made a mistake, actually it's Jerry "Jojo" Dylan and Dustin McShane

Iron_Angel: After another meal, sometimes even at full size, we go on tour.
Iron_Angel: "Tour" means some PR event the XWF wishes. Angel always, ALWAYS, insistes that the cause be rightous.

Iron_Angel: By this time it is four. Sometimes he then goes to Mass, sometimes he does sometime social.

SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): When you're ready you can change scenes to just before you enter the arena.

SuperBeast: [Jerry "Jojo" Dylans] An amazing end to the undercard match between Ballz Mahoney and Polyp! Next up tonight at the newly renovated Kombat Park is Nevada's very own dance troupe, the Super Girls!
Iron_Angel: Once again lifes path has placed him in the arena. "God works in strange ways", Angel thinks to himself before the match.
Black_Hammer: Inside the arena, Black Hammer walks to the private box. The fans crowd around him- he signs a few autographs, shakes some hands, but mostly he says, "I'm just another fan tonight." *
Iron_Angel: This isn't the first time that thought had occured to him, he doubts it will be the last.
SuperBeast: Music plays and the fiendishly underdressed dancers run out and begin to entertain the marks, while the kombat krew prepare for the night's "heavy" match.
Black_Hammer: [Dustin McShane]And look at those girls dance! Yep, it makes me proud and inspired in this great country of ours!
Iron_Angel: Angel Prays for guidance.
SuperBeast: Many of the platforms are cleared and stones that wouldn't have been out of place in an age old middle eastern town dating back to the first testament are placed in the sandy bottom.

Iron_Angel: Angel's manager, "Fred", steps in.

Black_Hammer: [dustin] Looks like he's got some encouraging words for his fighter! Do we have, do we have sound down there? Excuse me, what do you have to say about tonight's fight?
Iron_Angel: [Fred] It is much more effective if you retain control... (notices the camera)
SuperBeast: *The old age desert theme is heavily played upon. Odd, when this is supposed to be the first North American match up. For those with the proper background or knowledge it seems there is some sort of biblical analogy here.
Iron_Angel: [Fred] And Remember, Watch Out For His Teeth!
Black_Hammer: [Tish] Sir? I'm Tish Allyson, what do you have to say about tonight's fight? She flashes her smile to the camera
Iron_Angel: [Fred] This is going to be a very hairy fight and you could very easily die out there (yeah, right, he thinks to himself)
Black_Hammer (private): Think the 'Beast will grapple?
SuperBeast: Finally everything falls into place. Nova minds where taxxed in the quick and wonderous building of the arena. All so the baselines can enjoy watching you guys blow the shit out of it.
Iron_Angel: [Fred] (As long as Angel doesn't donate the prize money...AGAIN... tonight should be a cakewalk)
Black_Hammer (private): Oh, and his theme music has to be by his own band, Superbeast [with umlauts]
SuperBeast: It's a fairly simple ring, 100 meters, circular. Multilevel rock platforms are placed conviently in scattered groups that are no more distant than Superbeast's jumping distance.
Iron_Angel: As Fred continues to play to the camera, Angel simply closes his eyes and mediates.
SuperBeast (whispers to Black_Hammer): Maybe. I'm gonna have fun evading and jumping about at first until I can make a flanking attack to start it off.
Iron_Angel: Then he thinks, "show's on" and opens his eyes.
Black_Hammer: [Dylan] Thanks, there, Tish, looks like we're going to have a HELL of a fight tonight! We've got Superbeast, you know him, you love him! Straight from the pit, by way of a crushing 20-4 record!
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): When you answer the reporter's question do you want to start?
Iron_Angel: I expect GOD to support me in this coming battle Fred. No matter how strong or quick or animalistic he is... I WILL BE VICTORIOUS!!!
Iron_Angel: As he says this he looks into the camera and... menance seems to roll off him.
Iron_Angel: (( Make that MENANCE ))
Black_Hammer: Security finally separates him from the fans- not "his" fans, he was just the distraction of the moment- Black Hammer finally reaches his private box. Vanessa is, of course, already there.
SuperBeast: [Dustin] And tonight, by the graces of what ever deity you worship, is an angel come to do battle. It's Iron Angel, undefeated and righteous.
Black_Hammer: [Vanessa]"Welcome to the circus. Pay some attention out there, those are your co-workers."
Black_Hammer (private): sorry, I "Dylan"d for "dustin" again.
SuperBeast: The massive vid screen shows the faces, profiles, stats and novaphiles of the two fighters.
Iron_Angel: Angel relaxes, and.... BECOMES. (rolling for Stats).
SuperBeast: Music from Superbeast's very own Corpse grinder CD starts playing
Black_Hammer: [Jojo] Well, the Angel's moved up the ranks quickly, but I have to say he's looking awfully calm for someone who's facing a fury like the Corpsegrinder.
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Ok, superbeast will enter first. Then Angel.
Black_Hammer: [Dustin] I'd say he looks like he knows something. Or thinks he knows something. The only thing I think I know is, this is gonna be a fight to tell your grandchildren about!
SuperBeast: A large dog like beast, almost twice the size of an ordinary man comes loping with the speed and grace of a natural predator.
SuperBeast: It's SuperBeast! The crowd roars and he leaps up onto the vitrium panels and swings about shouting and screaming like an orangutan.
Black_Hammer: [Dustin] My god, I think he's gonna go through and start tearin' up the crowd!
Iron_Angel (private): Fine. Sorry I was calculating.
Iron_Angel (private): Let me know when to step in
SuperBeast: Dropping down to one of the stone platforms opposite his opponents enterance ramp. SuperBeast waits while beating his chest mightily. Quite the performance for a normally dry humoured rocker.
SuperBeast: The music changes...the lights move to Iron Angel's enterance...
Iron_Angel: Angel walks standing tall at 25 feet.
Iron_Angel: There is a strange combination of peace and Menance coming off him.
Black_Hammer: [Vanessa] "Look. God's pet rock."
Iron_Angel: Before he steps into the ring, he briefly kneels and crosses himself.
Iron_Angel: His halo gets much brighter and he stands. "In the name of GOD I will be victorious." (Crowd Pops)
Black_Hammer: [Jojo] And there go the Angel's fans! Look at that! The camera pans to a man holding up a sign saying "Revelations 3:11" They're waiting for the end of the world out there, and they just ! Might ! See it!
SuperBeast: The Ref "from Hell" waits for his signal to begin the match...
Iron_Angel: He checks, but the high level microphone isn't there. He steps into the ring.
Iron_Angel: The Sword of RIGHT appears.
Black_Hammer (private): Actually, I made it up but Rev. 3:11 isn't a bad verse, it turns out.
SuperBeast: [Dustin] Even if I were a betting man I still couldn't make a wager on tonight's match these guys are so evenly matched the tension is unbareable! These guys will be throwing jabs that could kill an elephant!
Iron_Angel (private): Rolling for init; beat a 20
SuperBeast (whispers to Black_Hammer): Heh
Black_Hammer: [Black Hammer] "Kill an Elephant." That's good. I got hit by a SUBWAY TRAIN and it wasn't as hard as Iron Angel.
Iron_Angel: A song from Chant briefly fills the arena. It stops...
SuperBeast: [Ref] Now I know you fighters won't break the rules. There aren't any. No time limit, Nevada Desert Match, Iron Angel versus SuperBeast.... BEGIN!!!
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): 15 your go
Black_Hammer: The crowd roars for blood.
Iron_Angel: ((How far apart are we?))
SuperBeast: The two fighters suddenly spring into action before poor baseline you or I can even react!
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): 100 meter circular ring. About 75 meter difference.

Iron_Angel (private): Spend a full action sprinting towards SB,

Iron_Angel: Angel Charges towards SuperBeast. His feet his the ground like hammers.

Black_Hammer: In the box, Vanessa leans forward, holding her breath and waiting for the impact.

SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): You can run and act, but sprinting is well running as fast as you possibly can
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): I suppose your speed is enough tho. Okay
Iron_Angel (private): You can still do a tackle (I think), if so that would be at +1 diff...

Iron_Angel: And Iron trys to tackle SuperBeast, as he dives down the Beast simply jumps up and over him.

SuperBeast: SuperBeast pounds the stone platform with his legs, splintering it and sending him flying out of the way of Angle's first attack.
Iron_Angel: The platform crumbles as Angel lands on it.
SuperBeast: Ricocheting off the vitrium glass panel on the other side of the arena, SuperBeast lands growling in good humour.
Black_Hammer: [Dylan] Oh! And first blood is NOT to the Angel of Wrath! Looks like the Beast is gonna be a little tougher than the last fighter!
Iron_Angel: Angel rises to one knee, and...
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Did you want to try and hit him with your 3rd attack as he jump dodges?
Iron_Angel (private): I'm reserving it. I'll attack after you attack me.
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Heh. That's just it. SuperBeast went full dodge that round and used a q-leap.
Iron_Angel (private): Fine. Swing the sword (I wasn't going to dodge anyway)
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): You expect he'll try and attack you with another jump, from surprize if he can manage it.
Iron_Angel (private): 3 succ, and if you don't have more q-leap it hits.
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Ok, we'll play it out like the action went so fast nobody saw it happen at first until SB starts to bleed a bit?

Iron_Angel: Angel Swings, a wall of fire fills the area near him, BUT THE BEAST IS ACTUALLY ABOVE THE FIRE WALL!!!

Black_Hammer: [McShane] I don't know about that, Jojo, looks like the Angel's just getting started here.
Iron_Angel (private): Whatever. Round two starts unless you have more actions. And most of the platforms just got cut off at the knees.
SuperBeast: [Jojo] Unbelievable. SuperBeast is really giving it all this night! He's current;y ranked in the top 20 most agile shootfighters in the world and he deserves that position tonight for sure!
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Okay. You deal massive damage Dbuss
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Let's do init 19
Iron_Angel (private): Mine is 15. Go for it, I have 3 actions this time.
Black_Hammer: [Dustin] But the Beast has yet to get a shot in! Iron Angel is driving him from one corner of the ring to another!
Iron_Angel: The nearest seven platforms crumble to the ground as their support beams vaporise!
SuperBeast: [Jojo] But you're right Dustin. No one should underestimate Iron Angel. He has a record that even Core would envy, no losses and two flatlines in a row in the last fights!
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Superbeast jumps and goes for the attack

SuperBeast: Superbeast lops off his platform and leaps tossing up clouds of dust

SuperBeast: SuperBeast hits the ground and starts moving quick, but Angel is quicker! The massive sword covered in flame torches Superbeast's form!
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Okay, this makes sense now.
Iron_Angel (private): I'll do a half move towards you and swing again.
Iron_Angel: Angel moves towards SuperBeast and starts to swing again...
SuperBeast: Superbeast growls and his fur and tusks are burnt with a thin layer of black as he attempts to spare himself further immolation
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): SB has no more actions. Go for it.
Black_Hammer: [Jojo] Well, looks like the Angel sure has Superbeast on the defensive! That first hit didn't slow him down any!
Iron_Angel (private): Swing has 2 succ; 10d+[20] again.
Iron_Angel (private): And I have one more action...
SuperBeast: And Super Beast takes another burning hit. He's really starting to smell of burning hair!
Iron_Angel (private): Move closer again and swing with fist this time.
SuperBeast: [Dustin] The med team looks concerned on the sidelines. Is Angel going to flatline another one on his path of holy fury? Or can SuperBeast wrestle the Angel into submition?
Iron_Angel (private): Wow! 8 Succ! Thats 9d+[25]+acc
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Whoa ha!
Iron_Angel: Angel fakes with the sword steps in and swing his fist..

Black_Hammer: on the sidelines, Vanessa Van Scythe is audibly hissing.
SuperBeast: SuperBeast is caught off guard like a deer in the headlights. Angel's mighty fist blows the beast head of heals rolling throw crumbled stone platforms and into the wall!
SuperBeast: SuperBeast takes such a beating that his compsure breaks the moment and he's no longer the Corpsegrinder and he just stares at Angel in awe!
Black_Hammer: [Dustin] And the Beast is down! He's down! Will he- he looks stunned!
SuperBeast: [ooc] Ack my grammar marks must be taking a pounding!
Iron_Angel (private): Thats end of round 2. Does the bell go off?
SuperBeast: [Jojo] The good Doctor has given the signal to the ref the match is gonna end! No wait... what is SuperBeast doing?! He's getting up... Impossible he's bleeding from his skull!!
SuperBeast: [Jojo] What's he doing?! Get a mike down there he's trying to say something!
Black_Hammer: [Dustin] Well, he's a tough one!

Iron_Angel: Beast leaped up and gored Iron hard. But he didn't seem to even scratch the survace of the GOD protected Angel.
SuperBeast: Superbeasts claws just scratch and skip along Angel. Now frothing at the mouth, SuperBeast begins screaming unintelligble bestial lyrics that are oddly entracing

SuperBeast (whispers to Black_Hammer): Yea, unfortunately this place is packed. Maybe a q-leap could do it though.
Black_Hammer: "Nessa, think you can do a quick medical strike on him and get out ?" Vanessa shakes her head no
Black_Hammer: "Can you get me in there?" Vanessa shakes her head no
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Okay. He doesn't resist but comes right at you biting and wailing away with his claws. 3 attacks
Iron_Angel (private): I take another level of damage from all three.
SuperBeast: [SuperBeast] I will NOT be restrained. RA-owr! attempts to bite Angel with his freakish tusks and foaming mouth
Black_Hammer: Black Hammer stomps through the floor of the box , catches himself falling and only bruises the 37th row inhabitant he lands on and starts a lumbering run down to the vitrium cage.
Iron_Angel: And Angel grabs SuperBeast and wrestels him to the ground.
Black_Hammer (private): I'm not going superheavy till I get in there- can I sprint? Will it matter?
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): He's held. The damage was mostly from his biting and now you've pretty much negated that with your hold.
Black_Hammer (private): never mind.
Iron_Angel (private): This is a mega-str attribute fight. Beat a mega5.
SuperBeast (whispers to Black_Hammer): You can get out there and help Angel restrain him.
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): One.
Black_Hammer (private): I'm going for it.
Iron_Angel: The sword of RIGHT fades...
Iron_Angel (private): One? One what?
SuperBeast: SuperBeast, writhes, kicks and bites but the Angel of Wrath holds him immobile on the ground!
Black_Hammer: The Hammer picks up speed heading down the stairs- people dive aside- and he's approaching the vitrium cage. "NESSA!"
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): One resist. If you can hold on for two more rounds Black Hammer will help you and the Beasts fury will fade at the hopelessness of his fight.
Black_Hammer: Vanessa Van Scythe appears by the cage door, slashes downward with a hand and the latch disintigrates just as the Black Hammer slams through it.
Iron_Angel (private): If you don't have Mega-Str=5, you just lose here. (Although you might be able to still attack me).
SuperBeast: Superbeast screams Corpsegrinder lyrics as if his mind had snapped and he really was the Lord of the Dead!
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): This next round. 3 sux to break out
Black_Hammer: He stomps up to the ring proper, and tries to take the grapple over from Iron Angel.
Iron_Angel (private): I roll 5 dice right?
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): We roll megas to hold and to break out don't we.

SuperBeast: SuperBeast continues to shout blasphmies and tear at Angel, but lo! Black Hammer sprinting and hobbling has entered the fray!
SuperBeast: Black Hammer tackles and almost misses but he scrambles upon SuperBeast and he's held!

Black_Hammer: Vanessa walks up to the foaming Beast. Her stiletto heels click across the broken stones. She holds eye contact and walks fearlessly up to him. "Behave."
SuperBeast: The trembling medical team works quickly to use several types of mox through powerful injection devices. SuperBeast roars again and the needle breaks on him
SuperBeast (whispers to Black_Hammer): Okay. Superbeast is spending willpower for his "last chance".
SuperBeast: Superbeast looks the woman in the eye.
Black_Hammer (private): If he slows down for even a second, she's going to Heal his head.
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): Okay. Superbeast is going for his last chance here. Restrain him and it's over.

SuperBeast: Superbeast's attack just grazes Angel harmlessly, but he turns and rends Black Hammer with his patented Claw Uppercut before he slashes at Vanessa!
SuperBeast (whispers to Iron_Angel): No sux for the mad SB
Iron_Angel (private): I use my first action at init=19 to hit him down into the ground.
Black_Hammer: Superbeast's Claw Uppercut rips up the Hammer, but the slash at Vanessa goes through empty air. From the private booth with the hole in the floor, Ms. Van Scythe just sighs.
Iron_Angel (private): Wow! 7 successes. 9d+[25]+acc
SuperBeast (whispers to Black_Hammer): damage is [20] + 10 + extra sux (all lethal)
Black_Hammer (private): took it. 4 levels.
SuperBeast: Angel strikes SuperBeast again with an unrestrained mighty blow to the Beasts turned back!
Black_Hammer: [Jojo] My god, he's a real wild animal. . . and the door to the ring is open! Stay calm, people!
Iron_Angel (private): If he is still up, we will repeat this at init=17.
SuperBeast: The blow sends SuperBeast flying into the panels once again. KO punch from Angel there. SuperBeast head slumps back into the shattered glass and is peacefully unconcious at last.
Black_Hammer: [Dustin] Yeah, but there's a whole lotta rock between the Beast and that door. I'm staying right here !
SuperBeast: [Dustin] Is he down? Is he down?! I thought we were all dead there Jojo. He could have killed everyone in this audience in that state! ((oops shouldn't have said that Dustin ))
Iron_Angel: ((Guys, it is 12:10 my time, the bed calls...)
Black_Hammer: [Jojo] He's down. And he's gonna stay there a while, from the looks of things- but the Hammer is taking no chances. He's keeping the Beast in, looks like a variant submission wrap. . .
Black_Hammer: ((as does mine, IA. Same time zone.))
SuperBeast: 3 Med teams approach. The scene fades away with Jojo and Dustin congratulating the quick thinking and bravery of both, Iron Angel and Black Hammer. The Ref thanks them and asks them to help monitor SuperBeast as the med team works.
Iron_Angel: I stand nearby...
Black_Hammer: fades out OOC: Thanks for GMing!
SuperBeast: Ok. Amend that. Black Hammer takes no chances and keeps holding the sucker.
Iron_Angel: Yes! Very good job.
SuperBeast: [ooc] No problem. I didn't have that last part planned it just happened. See what I'll post about SuperBeast and what happens to him.
